This Friday, May 25th, 2018 was held the first virtual meeting between Factom Authority Nodes Operators. This meeting brought together up to 25 speakers representing 15 of the first 21 node operators.

Numerous topics were covered, ranging from the establishment of a list of data on node operators to facilitate contact with them, the definition of the role and organization of independent committees dealing with various aspects of the Factom protocol, but also and finally the introduction of a Grant Pool model – a system allowing to allocate subsidies directly by the protocol to fund development projects.

Each topic was subject to a vote of approval. All the suggestions having retained a degree of satisfaction at – or close to – 90%, we can deduce that node operators work with a common idea and vision for the Factom protocol.
